Cabernet Sauvignon – OVR

In a nutshell
We began our Old-Vine-Revival programme with País during the pandemic. In buying O-V-R people helped us make a bigger difference in the community. It was successful in UK, Sweden and Ontario Canada, but we realised we could do more if people did not have to learn what was for many a new varietal. So, we put together a blend of old vines and this old vine Cabernet Sauvignon.

Classic old-world herbal aromas, red-fruit brightness and spice but what’s different is the texture, especially when tasted next to a wine from Maipo, you notice the granite in the palate here but more generous and less austere, the old-vine complexity and less alcohol– the difference proper farming can make is beginning to show.
