Mediterranean varietals such as carignan and cinsault, as well as the historic grape pagís, have seen comebacks as producers have put renewed emphasis on Mediterranean freshness and drinkability. This is especially evident in the southern Maule, Itata and Malleco regions, where some of the lightest and most drinkable wines are now being crafted as best expressed by our Nº7 wine, the Garage Wine Co. Cariñena Empedrado Vineyard Field Blend 2019, and our Nº10 wine, the Pedro Parra y Familia Valle de Itata Miles 2021.
